Capital.com Appoints Kypros Zoumidou as CEO, Focusing on Next Phase of Growth
London-based brokerage firm, Capital.com, has announced the appointment of Kypros Zoumidou as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective from 16 October 2023. Zoumidou, who previously served as the UK Managing Director and Group Chief Commercial Officer, will be succeeding Peter Hetherington.
In a press release, Capital.com highlighted that this leadership change comes at a crucial time as the company gears up for its next phase of growth and strategic endeavors. Victor Prokopenya, the founder of Capital.com, expressed his gratitude towards Hetherington’s transformative leadership, which has been the driving force behind the company’s success.

Zoumidou, who joined Capital.com in February 2022, following a 12-year tenure with the UK-listed broker, IG Group, expressed his excitement about stepping into the role of Group CEO. Having worked alongside Hetherington for over a decade, Zoumidou aims to build on his success and further expand the company’s solid foundation.
